Alicia Keys Tops 4 Billboard Charts This Week
Alicia Keys kicked a lot of ass this week! Her new record As I Am debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 Album Charts, while her single “No One” is number 1 on the Hot 100, Hot Digital Songs, and Hot R&B/Hip Hop Songs. The album sold 742,426 copies, and is the highest digital selling album by a female artist…ever. Vibe.com also reports that “No One” is currently the most-played video on BET, MTV, VH1, VH1 Soul and MTV Hits.
The record features songs co-written by Linda Perry (“Superwoman,” “The Thing About Love,” “Sure Looks Good to Me”), and John Mayer (“Lesson Learned”), and they’re all great, and the rest are great, and Alicia Keys is great.
