Madonna is one album away from closing the door on her record deal with Warner Brothers, then it’s off to change the face of record deals as we know with her ten year Live Nation mega-deal. So, how is Madonna ending her deal? Coughing up a B-sides or a Best Of for the holidays? Hardly.

Madonna doesn’t f*ck around.

It was announced today on Sirius Satellite show “OutQ” that her new album will be called Licorice. The fansite Drowned Madonna released details of an exclusive listening party earlier this week, and previewed 10 tracks from the album. Two of the tracks aired on “OutQ;” “Candy Shop” featuring Pharrell,  and “The Beat Goes On” featuring Kanye West. The album will also include an older unreleased track, “The Devil Wouldn’t Recognize You,” and Timbaland produced tracks “La, La” and “Off The Hook.”

Others to appear on the record include Akon, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Danja, Sean Garret (The Pussycat Dolls, Destiny’s Child producer), Mark Stent (who’s worked with Madonna before), Swizz Beatz….etc. The album was intially rumoured to be released in October, but has been pushed back a few times (along with a few other big releases). Licorice is due in April.
