A Cursive Memory Changes
Vagrant Records latest southern California pop-punk band. They’ve opened up for Jimmy Eat World and Hellogoodbye, and I’m pretty sure they are 14 years old. Learn how to be a “Bandarazzi” in 4 easy steps, and check out their new video for “Everything” if you are so inclined.

Morcheeba Dive Deep
This is Morcheeba’s first record without singer Skye Edwards, and features 6 different guest vocalists - including Queens rapper Cool Calm Pete. Pete sings on “One Love Karma,” a slow paced trip-hop track; quintessential Morcheeba.

The Mountain Goats Heretic Pride
Heretic Pride is the 6th album on 4AD by John Darnielle’s The Mountain Goats. The album’s first single “Sax Rohmer #1″ has an amazing video you should watch now.

The Raveonettes Lust Lust Lust
This Danish duo’s dark brand of “next wave” pop has kept them a critic favorite since their 2002 debut. The follow-up to 2005’s Pretty in Black is big with the distortion; a beach party on acid…in the 60’s.

Ray Davies Working Man’s Cafe
Second solo album by The Kinks frontman, the follow-up to 2006’s Other People’s Lives. All of the tracks were written about the changes he’s seen in America since the 60’s, and were recorded in Nashville. The Deluxe Edition includes 4 bonus tracks and Americana A Work In Progress, a documentary directed by Ray himself.
