As I mentioned yesterday, Pharrell and Chad Hugo played with Kenna last night on Letterman…and here it is. The internetssss rocks. “Say Goodbye to Love” is on Kenna’s new record, Make Sure They See My Face.

Kenna was straight ill. After I stopped trying to see the lead singer’s face from under his slammed hat, I really listened to the sound. I instantly recognized the “labored-originality” arrangement of Chad and Pharrell, but then came the background vocals. Whoa! Mint Condition reborn. I love it.
