Songoftheday: “Sound Of Kuduro” by Buraka Som Sistema
I don’t think I’ve ever watched a music video in its entirety this many times in my entire life. This might be the coolest f*cking thing I’ve ever seen ever. I’m actually going to say (in March) that this may possibly be my Song of the Year. I don’t know what to do about how awesome this is.
Buraka Som Sistema (also known as BSS) is a Portuguese dance act; a combo of “Progressive Kuduro” artists Lil John, Riot, and Conductor. Their EP, Buraka to the World, (feat. the track “Yah!”) was obviously just the tip of the iceberg for what’s to come from this group of talented beat makers. The full length debut, Black Diamond, has a rumored summer release.
I’ll put that on my list of Anticipated Albums of ‘08. Are you kidding me with this?

Buraka, are just great! It’s a shame that here in Portugal people don’t pay to much atention to their work.. It’s a fact tha they have more success outdoors..
