- Prince was added to the Coachella line-up, headlining the Saturday show (Portishead, Death Cab For Cutie). It’s the first time Prince has ever played an American festival
- The Regeneration Tour with The Human League, Belinda Carlisle, ABC, Dead Or Alive, A Flock of Seagulls and Naked Eyes? Honest to blog (I’m just going to keep using that so deal)
- NME announced the nominees for the first Awards show in the US, including 4 for the Killers and FIVE for the Holy Arctic Monkeys (yep, they flipped the international catagories, still get to worship)
