Madonna Hard Candy Tracks Leak Online
6 tracks from Madonna’s new album, Hard Candy, leaked yesterday and somehow haven’t been taken down yet (not including “4 Minutes,” which really shouldn’t be considered a ‘leak’ at this point), so here I am with my opinion:
“Give it 2 Me” Pharrell produced dance track, yes I like this. Doesn’t really sound like Pharrell at all, actually.
“Heartbeat” This definitely sounds like Pharrell….I don’t like Madonna’s vocals on this – I mean, I like them…i lied.
“Miles Away” Yes, Madonna lacks a bit lyrically. More Timbaland/Danja? With all the talk about these hip hop producers and a hip hop direction, this is playing like a straight up dance record so far.
“She’s Not Me” More Pharrell, this sounds like a euro-pop Kylie Minogue track – but not a very good one. My least favorite so far…
“Incredible” Pharrell produced 75% of this album. The most hip hop-ish track, still mostly dance. This seems to drag on a bit…
“Beat Goes On” Feat. Kanye West Another good Pharrell produced dance track, but when considering all of the talent involved with making this (and 3 of my favorite pop stars)…color me disappointed.
“4 Minutes” Feat. Justin Timberlake I’m starting to think this is the strongest track on the album…
Maybe this is a grower. So far, I’ll take Confessions. By a lot.
