Brooklyn’s Takka Takka released their sophomore full length this past Tuesday, the follow-up to 2006’s We Feel Safer at Night. The record was produced by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah’s Sean Greenhalgh, and features performances by The National’s Bryan Devendort and Lee Sargent (also of Clap Your Hands) .Their mellow, atmospheric guitar pop is at it’s best on the album’s first single, “Silence.”
