New Dears Song “Money Babies” Off Of Missiles

While Murray Lightburn is theoretically the only member of this band, I’ll refer to them as a band none-the-less. The Dears, a Canadian indie outfit with 3 amazing albums under their belt, are set to release the follow-up to 2006′s Gang of Losers. Missiles, which is due October 20 on Dangerbird Records, is (from what I can tell by 2 tracks) continuing the tradition of The Dears’ dark, orchestral pop (as referenced in their self aware debut album title, Orchestral Pop Noir Romantique). In addition to “Meltdown in a Major,” which has been streaming on the band’s myspace for a couple of weeks, The Dears have also offered up another new track, “Money Babies.” Stream the dreamy guitar track via the link below.
