This is called The Very Best for a fucking reason. As I’ve mentioned before, Radioclit and Esau Mwamwaya have joined forces to create some of the most incredible, original music I’ve ever heard. GvB recently blessed my life with a leak of the band’s first mixtape (officially out Nov. 1). “Hide and Seek” is one of the many life changing songs on this tape. I have no idea what the lyrics mean, but it doesn’t matter at all. The track had already been streaming on their myspace, but I hadn’t gotten to really listen to it. This might knock off “Sound of Kuduro” as my favorite song of the year. Century. There are tracks missing from this that can be found on their myspace in various form (youtube vids, specifically), so I’m hoping that they’ll release an official record soon.
