Blur To Reunite At Hyde Park in 2009
I guess the old adage still applies that if NME says it, it must be true! How refreshing! After Damon Albarn reportedly mentioned a few weeks ago that a Blur reunion “may be possible,” it seems that it will actually for real happen! For real!
Apparently, Damon Albarn and guitarist Graham Coxon have started to sort out their difference. Coxon left Blur in 2002 during the recording of Think Tank (possibly my favorite Blur album), but it seems they had some tea and calmed down a bit. The band announced officially that they will play a gig at Hyde Park in London next summer. The original line-up, including Coxon, hasn’t played together on stage since 2000.
