Songoftheday: “I Been Runnin” by Johnny Polygon
I know it’s a bit early to declare a Song of the Day, but trust me, this is it. DJ Nice & Green Lantern’s new mixtape, Back 2 the Basics 2 (The Resurrection), features this track from up and comer Johnny Polygon. You may recognize Johnny from Nas’ “Black President” off of his latest. Johnny never held a job down for more than 3 months, guess that it’s his fault cause he smoke too many blunts. It happens.
“I Been Runnin” is produced by Green Lantern, and Johnny’s debut album is due out soon on Lantern’s label, Future Green Entertainment.
