Lupe Fiasco Singing in British Accent for a Punk Band?

Um, OK. This is Lupe Fiasco (who is now calling himself Percival Fats – and claims that he is not Lupe Fiasco) singing in a fake British accent for a rock band called Japanese Cartoon. The band claims in a blog post that Lupe is merely a friend and a producer, and blames the rumor mill on their Myspace being hacked. The two tracks, “Army” and “Heirplanes,” were uploaded to the band’s Myspace…not sure when. Not sure if it is confirmed that this is Lupe either, but it 100% sounds like him…with a very Dick-Van-Dyke-in-Mary-Poppins-ish British accent. The weirdest thing of all is that these songs are not horrible. “Heirplanes” is streaming below, and “Army” is here. (Via Fake Shore Drive via Nah Right Lite).
