Anya Marina is technically not a new artist. Her third release and second full length, Slow & Steady Seduction: Phase II, is set for release on Atlantic Records on January 20, and the album’s first single, “Move You” is currently very much stuck in my head. You can watch the video for that track below, and can catch Anya on tour right now (including 2 stops in NYC in the the next 2 weeks, which I will hopefully have some tickets to give away for soon). Anya’s silky smooth vocals combined with her simple guitar pop songwriting sort of sounds like Lykke Li singing for Tegan and Sara. In other words, it’s good.
