Meanwhile, if you’re in the New York City area, you can check out singer/songwriter Anya Marina at Mercury Lounge on January 20, celebrating the release of her new album, Slow & Steady Seduction: Phase II. Doors open at 7:30pm. As sort of promised, I’ve got two tickets to give away for the person that leaves the coolest choice (according to me) for 2008 Song of the Year as a comment to this post (as well as a working email address!).
