Oasis Documentary Dig Out Your Soul in the Streets
As a guerrilla marketing tactic, Oasis taught New York City street musicians their songs (all 2 chords…) to promote their new album Dig Out Your Soul. The plan was to leak 4 songs from the album via live versions performed on the streets of NY. It plays more like a documentary about the musicians themselves rather than Oasis, which is very cool to watch. A lot of these interpretations are the best Oasis has sounded since 1996 (zing). You’ll notice Noel is nowhere to be found, as he was recovering from the fan attack.
