Jordin Sparks “Battlefield” Better Than Kris Allen’s 10 Best Performances Combined

Jordin Sparks takes me back to a time when Kanye West was still rapping, K-Rock was still playing mediocre rock music, and I moved back home for a year and watched American Idol with my mother. Yes, way back to 2007.
“Battlefield” is the first single from the Idol winner’s sophomore album of the same name. The album is due July 21 on Jive, whose Twitter tells me that the above new vid is playing every 5 minutes or so on some form of MTV. She’ll never top “No Air,” but I’m feeling some mega-pop intensity in this one (even though it has pretty much already peaked in the 30′s and subsequently fizzed out). She’s just so darn cute!
*JK. I don’t really hate Kris Allen.
