Jay-Z Wins World Series With “Empire State of Mind” Performance
As a lifetime New Yorker who grew up a Yankee fan (and a trader from Queens, sorry Mets) watching from my new home across the country (and oh yeah the fact that this song is pure gold). this performance of Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind” before game 2 of the World Series tonight got me to tear up a bit. Check out Mr. Phillie at 1:20 in complete awe of the moment. Yeah, now you’re in New York.
