The Dears Daytrotter Session, “Lights Off”
The Dears’ Murray Lightburn told My Poproks in 2008 that they “didn’t give a crap about ‘indie’” or “sh*t bins at the record shop.” The band’s disregard for being one of the cool kids has kept their music painfully honest through the years, and is by far their most endearing quality.
The Montreal band recently visited Daytrotter for a live session, and performed 3 beautiful tracks including “Lights Off” from their 2008 record, Missiles.
As always, no gimmicks. Just The Dears.
