The Chemical Brothers latest full length, Further, starts out with a slightly piercing screech a la old school AOL dial-up connections. It slowly starts to make sense as Stephanie Dosen’s vocals make their way into the forefront. As evident on “Swoon” and the first 3 tracks I’ve gotten through so far on NPR’s full album stream, Further is on course to be the most interesting by the duo since the 90’s.
