It’s hard not to think of Burial when listening to this Pariah tune, and I mean that in a 100% compliment way. “Signal Loss” comes from the English producer’s upcoming EP on R&S Records (the same label who have put out all of the James Blake EPs), and it is some airy, moody, groovy ish. (GvsB)

I haven’t been the biggest fan of the new Edward Sharpe material (is anything really ever going to live up to “Home”?), but I am digging this clip for “Mother.” It was directed by front-man Alex Ebert and features all of the Magnetic Zeros with their moms (maybe I’ve just got George on the mind, but it reminds me a lot of this). It’s on the new Every Mother Counts compilation, available at Starbucks.
