A group of Radiohead fans in Prague have spliced together footage for an unofficial, fan made concert DVD from last summer’s show at the Výstaviště Holešovice Exhibition Hall that, judging from the trailer, turned out extremely official-like. The reason for that is mostly that the audio masters from the set were provided by Radiohead themselves in support of the project.

Radiohead Live in Praha is available as a free download (with some patience) or can be viewed as individual songs on Youtube, now, for free, now. (SKOA)

In a surprise (or not so surprise?) announcement last week, both the New York and Los Angeles Fat Beats stores (a brief history) will be closing their doors forever in September. The record shops will celebrate their final week with a full schedule of free in-stores from 4-9pm, including this Saturday, the final day in New York, with Premier, Just Blaze, A-Trak, Pete Rock, and more (in other words, it will be very crowded in there). The schedule for the LA location (which closes on the 18th) is due soon.

The online store and record label will continue operation after the closings.

While I was watching The Antlers free set at The Getty’s Saturdays off the 405 series, (more to come on that), the Sunset Strip was blocked off for its second annual music festival with Smashing Pumpkins, Common, Kid Cudi, and other very random selections (Slash feat. Fergie?). During his set on the street fest stage, Cudi performed 2 new tracks (one called “Ghost” and the other untitled) from his upcoming Man on the Moon II: Legend of Mr. Ragar.

Above is Ryan Gosling’s band, Dead Man’s Bones, being not bad at all (in fact, quite good and kind of adorable), performing their song, “Pa Pa Power”, at Chancellor Place assisted living facility in Pasadena, CA. The band’s self-titled, debut album is out now on Anti, and they play FYF Fest next weekend at LA State Historic Park. They also need to book a show Halloween weekend, stat. (P4K)

Another coincidentally New York themed post for today; The Walkmen recently performed new songs from their upcoming LP, Lisbon, at the New York Public Library’s Schwarzman Building on 5th Avenue for the Gothamist House Series. “Woe is Me” and “Blue as Your Blood” get some nice acoustics, below. Lisbon is due September 14.

T.I. brings his last minute summer jam, “Got Your Back” feat. Keri Hilson, to Jimmy Kimmel last night in support of his upcoming, post-incarceration LP, King Uncaged (due September 28). King is def uncaged.

Robyn put on an exclusive, intimate performance at NYC’s P.C. Richard & Son Theater for iheartradio a few weeks ago (which featured another breathtaking performance of the best track of the year 1/2), and the mobile radio site recently unveiled a new clip from the show of Robyn covering Alicia Keys’ “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart.” Also, Robyn hearts repetition and Rosie Perez.

Jimmy Fallon continues to be cooler than you (or David Letterman). The Walkmen debuted new track, “Angela Surf City”, on Late Night last night. The track comes from the New York City band’s upcoming LP, Lisbon, due September 14.
