“FM Tan Sexy” is the second track to surface from El Guincho’s long-awaited sophomore LP, Pop Negro. It’s yet another vintage tropical afrodub Caribbean dance party from the Spanish beat maker, streaming below via GvsB. El Guincho is [finally] set to release a new series of limited edition EPs via Young Turks called Piratas de Sudamérica. Volume I (due July 12) serves as the first collection of new music since Alegranza (Best of ’08 pingback!), and is streaming in full via the new Piratas de Sudamérica site (also below).

The internets doesn’t even remember the last time El Guincho played a show in the US (OK, it was 2 years ago). Luckily, the Spanish one-man-band announced that he’s bringing his Best of ’08, obscure tropical sampling dance music back to the states in July for a handful of shows (dates below), including LA’s Spaceland [...]
