I know I was pretty cranky yesterday re: this new MGMT situation, but, apparently, the band apologized on Spinner for their clusterfark, “Flash Delirium,” admitting that it was more of a joke at first than a serious single for Congratulations.

I feel as though this video cheapens the authentic weirdness of MGMT’s single, “Flash Delirium” (as much as I don’t like its authentic weirdness to begin with). This makes them look like a couple of stoners goofing off in their Brooklyn apartment – probably because that’s exactly what it is.
