Okkervil River combine the ‘lyric video’ and the ‘performance video’ concepts in the official clip for 2011 Q1 highlight, “Wake and Be Fine” (via the NPR premiere). I Am Very Far is due May 10 on Jagjaguwar.

Austin’s Okkervil River premiered the superb (say it again, superb) new song, “Wake & Be Fine”,  with The Roots and New Pornographers’ A.C. Newman last night on Jimmy Fallon (above via TAP). The band’s 6th LP, I Am Very Far, is due May 10 on Jagjaguwar. I’m going to play this video again now.
