Phoenix AOL Interface Session
Everyone’s favorite French band that sounds like they are from Brooklyn (Phoenix) bring acoustic versions of “Lisztomania” and “1901″ to the AOL/Spinner Interface series. Yes, by the way, they were great. Also did “One Time Too Many” off of 2006′s It’s Never Been Like That. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is still on the Top 10 of my [...]

Phoenix Do “1901″ on Letterman, Are Excellent
Phoenix do Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’s “1901″ last night on Letterman. As you might have guessed, it was very good.

Phoenix Acoustic Home-Made Green Screen of “1901″
Phoenix do a home-made, scrambled, Macbook mic, acoustic green screen rendition of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix’s “1901″ in front of the Eiffel Tower (cause, you know, they’re French). A non-green screened clip of Laurent Brancowitz messing up and jumping out of the shot is edited in towards the middle, adding unnecessarily to the exuberant amounts of [...]

Phoenix Rock Me Amadeus in New “1901″ Video
You know, cause the album is called…yeah. Not only does Phoenix’s new video for “1901″ give me an excuse to listen to this song a couple of times today, but it’s also Friday. Sweet. Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is due May 26. It’s amazing and you should get it. Not that I would know. Cause, you [...]

Songoftheday: “Lasso” by Phoenix
I was having a 140 character limited conversation on Twitter and posted up a link to Phoenix’s “Lasso” after someone commented on “Lisztomanio” being boring and no “Everything is Everything.” I wanted to argue that “Everything is Everything” is not one of their better songs, and that 2006′s It’s Never Been Like That is better [...]

New Phoenix Video “Lisztomania”
How can Phoenix still be pulling off this garage rock thing flawlessly? After the surprisingly great sounding SNL performance a couple of weeks ago, the French indie band releases the official vid for “Lisztomania.” Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is due May 25 on V2. (Via Pitchfork)

Phoenix “Lisztomania” on SNL
SNL is really bangin’ out the cool musical guests this season (albiet with awful sound), most certainly including Phoenix, who rock their track “Lisztomania” in the vid above. The band’s forth album, Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix, is due in May, and this is the third awesome song I’ve heard from the record. Looking forward to it. [...]

The Hood Internet’s Jay-Z vs Phoenix “And The Definitive Winner Is”
The Hood Internet (Chicago DJ duo) is always throwing up mash-up posts that I usually skim through without even listening. But this one pulled me in, and it’s actually pretty cewel. The mix features Jay-Z’s “Roc Boys” and Phoenix’s “Too Young” (from their 2000 debut, United). PS: I think my favorite part of the mash-up [...]
