TVOTR’s Tunde Adebimpe on New Massive Attack
Oh hai Massive Attack. TV on the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe offers his vocals on a new Massive Attack song, and it’s probably a lot like what you’re imagining. “Pray for Rain” is from the band’s upcoming 4 track EP, Splitting the Atom, their first release since 2003′s 100th Window.

TVOTR’s Kyp Malone Reveals Rain Machine Details, Weird Cover Art
TV on the Radio’s Kyp Malone is semi-boldly going where many members of successful bands have gone before; Sololand. The cover art and tracklisting for Rain Machine’s debut was recently revealed, and I’ve been slowly digesting the various live videos that have surfaced. The album cover art was drawn by Malone himself, and I obviously [...]

New TV on the Radio Video For “Dancing Choose”
TV on the Radio’s “Dancing Choose” was one of my favorite songs of 2008 (though I didn’t love it as much as Rolling Stone and SPIN did). I suppose the album version is a bit better than the live one, but still….this is a great song, isn’t it? Yes…even more so when accompanied by this [...]

TV on the Radio “Dancing Choose” on SNL
Why are so many people hating on TV on the Radio? Videogum threw up a working video of their SNL stint on Saturday (their second song, “Dancing Choose,” above), and the feedback not only blames the apparent subpar performance on bad sound, but bad songs. C’mon people, you’re just rebelling against Rolling Stone, right?

My Poproks 10 Best Albums of 2008
If you read this blog regularly, you may find my 1500 word Coldplay rant from earlier this year to be pretty hypocritical, considering I didn’t even put the album on my own Top 10 for 2008. I guess, in the end, I couldn’t justify bumping any of these albums (even though I do love Coldplay [...]

New TV on the Radio “Golden Age” Video
Sadly, the sound quality of this Spinner debut of the video for TV on the Radio’s “Golden Age” is basically awful. So make sure you listen to the track first if you haven’t already. You can also download both “Golden Age” and “Dancing Choose” from TVOTR’s upcoming third full length, Dear Science (September 23), here. [...]

New TV on the Radio “Dancing Choose”
Mog.com is streaming a leak of another new track, “Dancing Choose,” off of TV on the Radio’s upcoming third full length, Dear Science. From what I can gather between this track and “Golden Age” (the first official single off of the album), this record is taking a bit of a different direction as far as [...]

New TV on the Radio “Golden Age” off Dear Science
TV on the Radio still have awesome hair. Oh, and their new track, “Golden Age,” is currently streaming both on their website and myspace. Of course, the track is ridiculously good, but also very, very different for the band. It’s hard to say exactly what this reminds me of, but it’s mostly like a great [...]
